Founded in Orpington in the London Borough of Bromley

Gracious Care was founded in Orpington in the London Borough of Bromley in 2018. Our location, central to the commuting area to the south-east of London, makes us ideally placed to serve a large population and also to recruit high quality, intelligent staff who care about their work and take a pride in making life so much easier for our customers.

Our founder joined the Early Intervention team for the London Borough of Bromley when her family was still quite young and because of her access to a wide range of social care provision, was able to obtain experience, specifically with the elderly, which was to influence her career path. The team she worked with were highly focussed on the needs of their service users, their professionalism stood like a beacon and their example was inspirational.

This is why we're a young and ambitious company with enthusiasm for high quality care provision. This is the reason that we employ the best in the sector. Our staff are also enthusiastic and want to provide effective, efficient and economical care which will enable our customers to maintain their dignity . We make use of the latest technology to help to ensure that our care service is provided for our clients at the arranged time. In May 2020 we moved into our offices in Willow Walk, Orpington. By then our administrative team needed a little more space to run the company efficiently.  Shortly afterwards we decided to register the with Companies House to formalise the structure. By June 2020 Gracious Care had become Gracious Care (Holdings) Limited. News of our reputation had spread, our customer base expanded and we took on more staff to cover the calls.

Later in 2020 (during the Covid-19 pandemic) we expanded into a second office in Willow Walk. This ensured that the original office could be devoted entirely to administrative tasks, with staff training, interviews and customer meetings being carried out in the new facility. We have equipped this room with a hospital bed, a hoist and many other aids which our staff need to be conversant with.

In April 2021, we purchased Gracious Care Limited to give us more options for the expansion of the business.

Through the summer of 2021 the business continued to grow locally to our Orpington head office and in November 2021 we added a new location: Rye in East Sussex. We've had connections with this area for 60years and our new base here allows us to widen the areas Gracious Care can assist, offering care in those communities.
